The 2025 Vitis Regulatory event took place in the centre of Bristol at the Radisson Blu hotel from 26th to 28th June. The three days consisted of activities, social activities and celebrating all that is good about the Vitis group.

After some long travels on the Thursday, our colleagues assembled for a celebratory three-course meal to mark the 30th anniversary of the company being established, and the perfect opportunity for those who work in different locations to meet and catch up with their fellow workers.

On the Friday we were joined by Polly Robinson from the company Growth Space, to lead us in the core activity of the event, which was to make a short promotional film in small groups. Just before the teams set off to develop their ideas, they were given an extra incentive with the winning group getting £1000 for the charity of their choice.

The project utilised skills such as problem solving, teamwork and working to tight deadlines. It inspired artistic flair, creativity and out of the box thinking to make the projects work.

After a day of filming and editing, the groups came back together to watch the finished projects and to announce the winning group. The winners opted to split the £1000 award between two organisations: Kent Wildlife Trust in the UK and Natagora in Belgium.

The event will certainly be considered a success by those who attended and the skills that were learnt as part of the activity such as problem solving, collaboration and supporting tasks together, will have added to the sense of unity displayed by our colleagues throughout the event.
