We’ll be at stand C114 in the Chemicals Management Zone, a dedicated area for REACH and Regulatory Compliance as well as safety, labelling and chemical logistics.

Chesney Swansborough, an environmental chemist and ecotoxicologist, joined Vitis Regulatory in June 2025.  Chesney has a degree in chemistry, and a master’s in environmental geochemistry, both from the University of Plymouth and she specialises in assessing environmental hazards and risks posed by chemicals.

Our team is excited to announce our participation in the SETAC Europe 36th Annual Meeting at the MECC Maastricht in the Netherlands.

The event will take place from 17th to 21st May and will explore the theme of “Embrace the Outlier: In Science, Regulations and Networks.”  

This year is due to be an eventful meeting for our team as we’ll be making numerous contributions to the conference.

Chesney Swansborough and Claire Gibson attended the Royal Society of Chemistry workshop on Evaluating the Reliability and Relevance of Environmental Exposure Data on 24 March 2026 in London.

Associate Director Alex Hooper and Consultant Scientist Chesney Swansborough will be attending the Helsinki Chemicals Forum (HCF) in Finland on 15th and 16th April at the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre.

Vitis Regulatory has a vacancy for a Regulatory Scientist/Risk Assessor in our firm in Brussels Belgium. The role is a position involving the review and interpretation of scientific information including chemical, (eco)toxicological and exposure information to comply with EU and global regulation of industrial chemicals and professional and consumer products.

Peter Sladen will be attending the ISES Workshop which is taking place 20th to 22nd October at the Escola Superior de Comunicação Social (ESCS) with the main theme of “Exposure Science: Tackling Today’s Environmental, Health Challenges and Policy Needs”.

Sharanda Francis, Lily Mae Richardson and Chesney Swansborough are heading to the NEC Birmingham for the Environmental Services & Solutions (ESS) Expo on 17th and 18th September.

EUROTOX 2025 will take place from the 14th to 17th September 2025, at the Megaron Concert Hall in Athens, Greece and will follow the theme of “Toxicology addresses Society’s real-life risks for sustainable health and well-being.” 

On Thursday, 28 August, Gustavo will be co-chairing the session on “Endocrine Disruptive Substances and PFAs: Environmental Chemistry, Fate and Transport, Toxicity, and Risk Assessment”, topics of growing importance in environmental science and regulation.

The 2025 Vitis Regulatory event took place in the centre of Bristol at the Radisson Blu hotel from 26th to 28th June. The three days consisted of activities, social activities and celebrating all that is good about the Vitis group.

Poster presented at ‘Endocrine Disruption Assessment: Opportunities to Enhance and Complement Current Approaches’ session at SETAC Europe 2025 on Tuesday 13th May 2025.

Our team is excited to announce our participation in the SETAC Europe 35th Annual Meeting at the Austria Center, Vienna. The event will take place from 11th to 15th May and will explore the theme of “Innovation for Tomorrow: Progress in Safe and Sustainable Concepts”

Vitis Regulatory expanded its EU base, setting up Vitis Regulatory GmbH as a German subsidiary in October 2022, working seamlessly with colleagues across Vitis Regulatory in UK and Belgium and with associates based in the Netherlands and the USA.

Silke Fiebig, Principal Scientist with Vitis Regulatory, has co-authored a poster to be presented by ICCS at SETAC North America 45th Annual Meeting in Fort Worth, Texas on 22nd October: Prioritizing the Development of a Standardized International Approach to Assessing the Biodegradability of Cosmetic Formulations.
